Portrait of Mahee (Knife) with his wife Kunzanya, and child of the Iowa. They wear beaded jewelry and thick blankets. Mahee holds an object in his hand. Daguerreotype is in its original case. On this daguerreotype is faint writing which is reversed, indicating that it is a duplicate plate. The writing is too faint to read.
