The Washington Plaza Hotel (now known as the south tower of the Westin Hotel) opened on June 29, 1969. The hotel is located in downtown Seattle at 1900 5th Avenue. The architect was John Graham & Associates. The south tower is 396.98 feet high and has 40 above-ground stories. A twin of this tower, known as the North Tower, was opened in 1982.
