Very little is known about Lena (Lenchen) Holderer's life and photographic work. She most likely received her first artistic training with the photographer Carl Albiker, whom she occasionally worked with and had a lifelong friendship with. After WW II she was promoted by Martha Hoepffner and held a teaching position at the TH Karlsruhe between 1952-1956.
