Photograph of a young boy sitting on the Thomas Bannatyne Monument. Two sets of double spiralled columns support a central carving and epitaph with a smaller plaque above with a carving of a cherub in front of buildings from 17th century Edinburgh, when the tomb was erected. Spiralled columns either side. The upper part of this tomb was recently restored following its collapse some years earlier.
