Rudolf Dührkoop (1848 - 1918) was a German portrait photographer who worked with his daughter Minya Diez-Dührkoop. This father and daughter team of photographers were elected quite late in the life of the Linked Ring Brotherhood. Rudolf opened an atelier for artistic photography in Hamburg, in 1883. He studied the great masters of portrait painting, and followed their principles in terms of composition and lighting. The father and daughter worked very closely together, and it is not unusual for their work to be co-attributed.
