Unidentified photographer / artist 1860s (ca) English paper mache storage box for stereo views, probably English Stereographica - Antique Photographica Courtesy of Bryan and Page Ginns (#17 / 24)
The side of the box drops down for easy access to the views. The hinges on the top lid have been reinforced by two small brass plates. A stereo view by Anthony, no. 1470 "The Open Bible," showing a similar box in a still life arrangement.
