Archive Farms The Philadelphia Photographer, Vol VI, No 71, November, 1869
Most notable are two identical copies of a photograph of Yosemite Valley by 'Helios, Cosmopolitan Art Gallery' [Eadweard Muybridge]. "No one in San Francisco, and a few in America, surpassed Muybridge in the seriousness with which he regarded his work. In November [1867] 'The Philadelphia Photographer' used three of his Yosemite views as a frontispiece. They tried to print all the issues from one plate, but ended up using three." - Hendricks. p. 27.
