This was possibly taken at the nearby fishing village of Newhaven, which provided ample subject matter for Hill & Adamson. Their un-published volume on this series has recently been brilliantly re-created by Stevenson. The orientation of this image matches that of 2 other copies in albums in the SNPG. However, it is a mirror image of Stevenson's Newhaven 51, as reproduced in the 1981 Catalogue (possibly through a printing error). this print is inscribed in pencil "60"
