View in Venice showing the Bridge of the Rialto, the Grand Canal and the Riva del Carbone, with boats moored on either side of the canal. Part of the quayside is visible on the right side of the image, with mooring-posts. Buildings 3 to 5 stories line the right bank of the river. A small wooden booth is on the edge of the quay to the right. A church tower projects above the buildings on the right.
