Photograph of the Abu Simbel Temple of Ramesses II, Nubia, Egypt: four giant seated statues of Rameses II with small statues of wives between legs; behind is a wall cut into a cliff; in recess in wall between second and third statues is small statue of Khensu; three Egyptian men in front; graffiti can be seen on the legs of the statues.
