Photograph of a grave site of an Indigenous Canadian Chief. A long canoe containing the deceased, is propped against the branches of two cedar trees. In the branches of the tree on the right is a plank box which contains another body.
 
Written in the album underneath the main title is the following: 'The body was rolled up in blankets then deposited in his canoe and titled up against a branch of the cedar tree, another body in a plank box is placed just above the canoe.'
