(Nora Hague, 2 June 2020) Annie MacDougall from Drummondville QC bought her camera from Wm. Notman & Son. This is a test shot taken with her new camera of herself in Notman's studio.
On the windowsill are negatives drying. We zoomed in and identified one of them, thereby dating the photograph within a day or so.
The negative was found in the fonds of negatives and albums given to us by her descendants.
