The Royal Yacht Osborne left Venice on 19 February and sailed south along the Dalmatian coast. A number of stops were made for the Prince to visit interesting sites, including Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Kotor in Montenegro and Durrës in Albania. The photograph is signed, captioned and dated in the negative, 'F Bedford Watercarriers at Durazzo /watercarriers at Durazzo'. The number in the Day & Son series is 129.
