Nan and I photographed many people there, in all kinds of weather and lighting, always candid, sometimes very intimate and telling, sometimes insightful…. always in black and white using the old Kodak Panatomic X pushed to asa 100 with Perfection XR-1…. Alison had a great beauty, both inner and obvious, but was like a cloud… the last we heard of her was from a friend who ran into her at a great affair of State in Paris, firmly attached to the arm of a person of Royalty …. hope she is well indeed…
