Portrait of George Pearson and Delcina Arabell (Thurston) Pearson, Shelby County, Indiana

Tintype
The Indiana Album Inc.
Tim Harmon and Julie Cicada Crow / McKinsey Family Collection, Catalog Number: ia-0128-c002-0016

Tintype of a couple. The man sits in a chair and the woman stands next to him with her hand on his shoulder. The back reads "George and Bell Pearson."

Spouses George W. Pearson (1852-1914) and Delcina Arabell "Bell" (Thurston) Pearson (1855-1923) lived in Shelby County, Indiana, where he was a farmer and cooper. It appears that the couple separated as she later married Isaiah Ponsler in about 1885 and George married Ella Layman.
