These two ladies were instrumental in encouraging Daguerre to be photographed by Charles Meade in 1848.
 
Mrs. Louise Georgina Daguerre, wife of Louis and aunt and surrogate mother to Marguerite-Félicité .
 
Miss Marguerite-Félicité Arrowsmith, lived with the Daguerres in Bry as a member of the household.
 
This illustration was included in the lecture "The many faces of Daguerre" presented by Matt Isenburg at the Daguerreian Society Symposium (2009).
