The photographer Peter Henry Emerson (1856-1936) and the artist Thomas Frederick Goodall (1856-1944) shared their artistic styles and took boating holidays together on the Norfolk Broads. Their most notable collaboration, and where most of the photographs were a combined vision, was in the plates published in the book "Life and Landscape on the Norfolk Broads" (London, 1889).
