I have been researching Henry Tanner as part of my family history research - my great-great-grandfather and Henry were cousins. Firstly, thank you for the wonderful biography of Henry you have on your site. It's helping me develop a timeline of his life and work. On your site you say "if you are related to this photographer and interested in tracking down your extended family we can place a note here for you to help". I would appreciate it if you could do that. Secondly, you ask "If you have a portrait of this photographer or know of the whereabouts of one we would be most grateful". There is a lovely portrait of Henry in 1859 (on the occasion of his marriage) on the British Library website.
