In 1916, Carnarvon, along with Howard Carter, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, one of the most spectacular finds in archaeology. he also had the presence of mind to photograph it. A keen amateur photographer, Carnarvon also worked with the platinum process and photographed strikingly exotic female studies.
