Professor von Berres of Vienna published etched daguerreotype plates in his book "Phototyp nach der Erfindung des Professor Berres in Wien" (Vienna, 1840). The number of plates varies in the surviving copies of this publication with four in the copy at the Rijksmuseum (Object number: BI-B-2644) and three in the British Library copy (British Library Catalogue, System number: 000296876 , Shelfmark: 1269.e.26)
