British photographer and an accomplished watercolorist who joined the ‘Linked Ring‘ in 1907. He also signed the Vorticist Movement manifesto ‘BLAST‘ in 1914. He was a friend of George Bernard Shaw who shared his interests in photography. He lived and worked most of his life on the island of Jersey.
A film about him entitled "Arbuthnot; London‘s Leading Photographer" was supposedly shown in London 1918-20 and we would welcome any further details.
