Address at 1, rue de l'Aigle, Algiers and active in the 1860s. Worked with Alfred Clavier at 8, rue Bab-azoh and later alone. His CDVs are identified by his signature in Arabic and French on the back. He was perhaps amongst the first, along with Bruneau, in Algiers to be interested in the artistic representation of people rather than just ethnographic studies.
