Daughter of Cornelius L. Clarin (1824-1906) and Nilsine Othilia Foyn (1827-1895), unmarried. Educated as an art photographer (national costumes, landscapes , etc. ) with particular reference to tourist traffic . She left an endowment for worn housewives.
