American documentary photographer. He was awarded two consecutive Guggenheim Fellowships in 1947 and 1948 for "The Way of Life of the Northern Negro" documenting in the Southside of Chicago. He was a and member and President of Magnum (1962-1966).

The Wayne Miller Archive is held by the Center for Creative Photography (University of Arizona).
