Mrs. Lillie Langtry (1853-1929), born Emilie Charlotte Le Breton, was a notable actress and producer whose career was not nearly as dramatic as her personal life. Her beauty allowed her to enter into British high society and her lurid affairs made her a popular topic in the society column. She captured the attention of very famous suitors like the Prince of Wales, the Earl of Shrewsbury, and Prince Louis of Battenberg. She eventually died in Monaco while her second husband lived in Venice.
