Photograph of the the Royal Convent of Las Salesas Reales that was built by François Carlier in the mid 18th century. In the foreground stand ornate iron railings with a number of figures standing outside, some blurred. The building is located in the Calle Doña Barbara de Braganza.
 
The building now houses the Supreme Court of Spain.
 
Acquired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert
