Bound MMA copy comprises the following volumes of "The Far East": Vol. I, July-Dec. 1876; Vol. II, Jan.-June 1877; Vol. III, July-Dec. 1877. Acknowledged photographers include: Thomas Child, active Peking 1871-89; Mr. W. Saunders, a commercial photographer working in Yokohama & Shanghai; Kameya Tokujiro &/or Kameya Toyo, a father/daughter commercial firm working in Nagasaki in the 1860s & 70s; L.P. Fisler; Christopher T. Gardner; an unidentified Chinese photographer.
