In 1926, Rodchenko produced a series of 25 photomontage posters entitled The History of the all Russian Communist Party [VKP(b)] in Posters. They were commissioned by the Museum of the Revolution and were printed in many different Soviet languages to be distributed across the country. Each poster covers a separate historically notable moment within the Party's existence. The posters were comprised of news photographs, newspaper clippings and other documents, geometrically composed against a red and black background. All of the posters are numbered in the upper left hand corner. Published by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. This is the Kazakh version, in Arabic, of which only 500 were printed. Berman / Juan March p. 36.
