Lithograph in Charles Thomas Newton, 1862-1863, A history of discoveries at Halicarnassus, Cnidus and Branchidae, (London: Day & Son)

Two images of blocks from the frieze of the Temple of Hekate at Lagina in Caria. The upper image is slab 210 from the east frieze, which is generally interpreted as the birth of Zeus. This slab depicts Rhea flanked by kouretes and Hekate handing Kronos the stone. The lower image is slab 199 from the south frieze depicting heroes and personifications from an assembly of the gods.
